Jobs Sydney Wages in the Mining Oil and Gas NSW Sector

    Mining, Oil and Gas jobs Sydney posted an averages wages income of $139,655, an impressive figure considering it is more the western states that are known for their mining sectors. However, over the course of 2008 there was a decline recorded in Mining, Oil and Gas jobs Sydney around July to September 2008 period. From January 2008 until June 2008 the averages wages for jobs Sydney in this sector was approximately $129,000.

    However, in the third financial quarter there was a decline to an average wage of approximately $120,000 before a sudden incline towards $140,000 by late December 2008.

    The top five performing jobs within the jobs Sydney and greater NSW Mining, Oil and Gas sector were Management (average wages of $161,295), Mining Engineering (average wages of $146,765), Mining Technical (average wages of $137,875), Oil and Gas Engineering (average wages of $137,115) and finally Other Mining Oil and gas jobs (average wages of $141,143).
